My Camera is broken.. the iris or lens seems to be damaged. Every time I look through the LCD screen or take a picture, there are these really distinct and annoying vertical lines. It's especially obvious when I upload a pic to the computer. Im going to call canon tech support tomorrow morning, hopefully I can send it to them to get it fixed, or

yeahhhh its exactly what happened to my camera!!! and mines a canon too. what model is yours? if you find out anything or talk to the people let me know so maybe i can send mine in too or something.

Mines a Canon Powershot A95. I called canon tech support this morning, the guy just told me to send it to the factory in illinois, since I apparently still have the warranty. It takes a week or two to fix though, he said.

The address he gave me to send it to was this:

He told me to send the camera without the batteries, as well as a copy of the sales receipt and a note describing whats wrong with it. Simple enough.
