I need some thoughts

everyone loves the main character... no one would make a movie, a book, a play, etc. if the protagonist was not likable. So what the creator has to do is surround the main character with a bunch of antagonist that no one likes and that no one can relate to... because how can you cheer for the lead if you understand the bad deeds of the rouge

that is not true.... why dont you make a main character that no one likes who just screws others over? i think that woudl be a very interesting plot....
