So, the Havemercy parts might have made me cry a little. But I'm ridiculous about my giant metal dragons.

Anyway, I loved this. ♥ Your Rook is beautiful, with just the right amount of sadness at the edges. And Thom being all awkward around him when they start traveling together but coming into his own, as his brother and maybe more, in the last couple of scenes is perfect, perfect, perfect.

(Also, you wrote for Yuletide! I have managed to miss the deadline to sign up for Yuletide for, like, four years. :D)

This was wonderful! The parts with Havemercy were wonderful and Rook was amazing, as was Thom. Thom's last line was priceless! Absolutely fantastic.
