What's amusing is that the democrats should vote yes and the republicans should vote no, if they want this poll in some way to affect the election. If everybody says "no" and Palin, according to the PBS-voting public, isn't qualified, the die-hard republican voters will be all like, "Ack! There's a big anti-Palin push! Those damn hippies are making her look bad! I'd better make sure to vote for McCain!"

Well, that, or people will be like "Everybody else doesn't like her, I guess I shouldn't either". Obviously different people will be affected in different ways, but I wonder whether the conformist of the spiteful (or shall we say cautious) mindset is a more widespread one.
