Well that sucks!

I had originally intended to write a light little blurb about how the book project was going, or about how T had suggested that we exercise in a theraputic pool, and how much it had benefitted us over the last six weeks. I had also thought about how I was asked by my musician friend to narrate "Babar, the Little Elephant" while she accompanied me ( Read more... )

Well other than a ten pound sack of twenties, and perhaps a decent job, there's not much anyone can do for me at this juncture. I would appreciate your kind thoughts and prayers though. Thanks sweetie.

If you can contact the other people of color who were let go, I think you should all go to an attorney and look at filing a lawsuit based on race discrimination ( ... )

I was just going to say the same things about contacting a lawyer! It sounds like you and the other former employees would have a VERY good case! Or at the very least enough of one to be offered that ten pound sack of twenties and maybe more to drop it. Think about it seriously, I certainly would and I am not the sort that sues over the slightest thing.

I appreciate the thoughts sweetie, but I don't think suing will accomplish anything. These people wouldn't pay me. After all of the fighting (years) they would offer me my job back, and then scrutinize every move I made. That wouldn't help me now. Besides, who wants to work for a company that doesn't want you there. Talk about a hostile work environment...Whoa!

Thank you sweetie. It wasn't my original intention to write about this, but it just happened. Life threw me a bit of a curve ball there. If you come across someone who needs a great people person, or a great voice, please send them my way.
