I too am a chubbykins 40-something babyboomer who enjoys the Sims. Your comments about the Sims 2 are especially welcome as I plan to purchase it. I really like designing the houses the most. Tell me, do the Sims 2 have all those annoying bathroom trips? I'm also planning to get Sims City 4 with Rush Hour, but I'm considering Civilization IV. SimCity 4 and Civ4 seem similiar in concept, and I wonder if you've played them both and if so, how you like it or them.
