This may be obvious to everyone else but...

It just kind of hit me that there is no point in time where "real life" begins. This is real life. No one is going to tell me when to go. Nothing will happen unless I make it happen.

This is very frightening.

yeah see that's the good thing about school, sort of. you can avoid having to deal with real life as long as possible.

Yeah, I haven't figured out how to come to terms with that yet myself. I keep saying "I'll get to it after I do so-and-so...that's when I'll make my life happen."

Honestly, if I were to just face the fact that life is now, I'd probably make some drastic changes...but the instability that that would cause can be terrifying.

stability is boring and overrated :)

it's pretty important to point this out from time to time, i don't think it's obvious!

yea... I think you're right. I'm sure everyone comes to this realization a few times in their life, because it's easy to forget.
EVERYONE is always saying things like "once you get out into the real world" etc. and it only helps to keep us all thinking this way. But then we will graduate, or move on to the next thing in life whatever it may be and we'll realize there isn't a starting gun or anything.
it's crazy man.
Anyway, glad I could point it out :)

I just wanted to see if this would still e-mail you.

Also, how's that "real life" working for you? Seems like you're doing it right.

Come hang out!
