it is officially the weekend before crit week. For those of you who don't remember from last year crit week is when every piece of artwork I've done over the semester is due... again. I am now in my last week of classes. I have two classes left this semester. Yikes. This is very frightening because it means crit week is next week and I have a lot of stuff to get done, including my 30 second animation due monday that I am maybe halfway through (yikes!). I brought up my issues at the staff meeting and it went really well. Some people still thought I was reading into it too much, some people agreed with me but I don't think they relly understood my issue, and some people really understood. But the end result is that they will all be a little more aware and think things through before doing them ( Read more... )

I feel like I am finally beginning to put in the kind of work and effort into school that I want to. I say "beginning to" because there is always room for improvement and I also think that in order to put in the kind of work I really want to I would have to do almost nothing else. regardless, I want to continue pushing and putting more into it, ( Read more... )
