Hun, if it's one thing I should've remembered when you first told me this is the fact that a true Martial artist is one who feels they have nothing to prove. A good martial artist knows what fights to pick and when to pick them. You have no real reason to feel bad for not stopping that fight. It didnt concern you..... you were a mere innocent bystander who did the wiser thing and chose not to get hurt.
Sometime risking an injury is the wiser thing to do, but a martial artist needs to know when and when not to use their knowledge. As a martial artist myself, I have made it a point to use my knowledge as a last resort...... even the one time when I actually had a knife pulled on me, a mere inches from my face. I simply looked at its tip and said "You better put that fucking thing away." A few seconds later, the dipshit put it back in his pocket. I never lifted a finger.
