I know that I probably won't be going to Lynchburg College ever. My grades haven't improved, and, if anything, have actually dropped since last year, and while my SAT scores may improve, I fear it won't be enough to please the admissions bored. your journal entry was inspiring.... its true that no matter what happens the most important thing in life is to be a good person...and to be happy with who you are. and no matter what , yes you can still make a difference. the only part i didn't like is this part... "if you go to college, it just means either your parents had money or you could work hard. " dont discredit all people who go to college... some of those people are great... true not all. but some are wonderful... if their parents had money to send them to college i think thats great because that means those parents worked hard for that money and saved it up instead of buying that cadillac Escalade they so dearly wanted. anyways that was just an opinion :) i hope you do get to go to Lynchburg College and if not there are always other choices.. Life is full of options :)

I agree with you. Yet again. Intelligence isn't based on your credits or grades or whatever the hell. Any idiot can get A's in a class by just doing all their homework. Intelligence is more the capacity of someone's mind to take in all the information around them, analyze it, and put it to use. I think you've pretty much got that covered. A great deal of "smart" people i know have little to no actual intelligence. I guess it just shows another way our shitty world is flawed.
