Is all love unconditional? If you truly love someone is it "Always and forever" always, or can that love fade, maybe even turn to hate and other bad emotions? I guess I should narrow it down a bit. Is romantic love unconditional? Familial love not withstanding, if you truly love someone can you stop loving them, or is it something permanent, no ( Read more... )

You seem to really view love in a utopian, ideal sort of way. If life were perfect, and good things happen to good people, blah blah blah, maybe all that would be true. But i doubt it is. I tend to see things pessimistically. But that's pretty much from just going through things and seeing how things really are. It's pretty depressing sometimes ( ... )

Maybe I'll post the "truth" some time. Like I said, this is what I'd like to believe. I tend to take a more. . . "scientific" approach to the whole thing in my mind. More of a . . love isn't magical, but a fact of life kind of thing; maybe even love doesn't exist as we see it, but love is what happens when two people wish to mate and all the circumstances work out for a certain period of time. The world really sucks when you break down the kewl shit.

Hey Brentaroni!!! It's derek as you may have already guessed. I agree with you on the fact that once you love someone, you'll always love them to a certain extent. But you can MOST DEFINITELY be in one-sided love. And, as many have come to find out, it sucks.

I wrote a paper on the subject last year for Mrs. Thompson, but I am currently too tired to find it or to even summarize it for you... oh well...

Oh, this is Brandon, by the way... I finally got one of these fangled accounts.

I'll give you my thoughts if you want them, but from the looks of the dates on these journals, you don't check this thing very often anymore. Anywho, put me on your friends list and try to update more often, and I'll try to give some input.
