Oooh, new Faulty_Wish! Great stuff, too, all of their reactions are dead-on. I particularly like Ed's anger/guilt over it--it's not his fault, really, but this is Ed we're talking about. He has more issues than a newspaper stand, and he's always finding more to add to his collection.
Thank you so much for the good crit. :D That makes my day.
Also, that is one of the best phrases I've ever heard about Ed; I may have to share it! And I like your name, too--points for less-than-typical words. ;)
yeah, I had to do that too. (still am, even! xD) Yeah, I'd love to hear what you're thinking of adding! Feel free to come by my lj and tell me (just so it doesn't get given away! And I don't tread on anything.)
Thanks for the crit, too. ^__^ I am glad it is favorable. :3 Thank you so much for commenting!
You broke whatever was remaining of Ed's brain! XD
I read the whole thing very quickly, you really managed to capture the urgency of the situation! It feels strangely good, though; so far he had been going "look how everyone is better off without me, wah!", but now it's become "people still need me, yay!"...
Too bad, Ed, in the end it's just a trade-off between how many people die and who they are.
Yeah, that's exactly how I was hoping it would go (changing what he percieves of the world as you've said it), but the fun thing is that it doesn't necessarily mean he can keep that up (ie, he'll get depressed and hopeless again). But, he could also do something in the middle, which is more likely and I think completely Ed-like: manage to be both at the same time. xD; The situation kind of calls for that, too....If he were to walk down the street and see people, he would get both light and dark: a country that's still working, though it doesn't know it's being manipulated; people that are alive, and now, he realizes, ones that are dead as well without him(Roze).
It poses some very hard questions, up to par with the original series: which is better, to keep your country in tact, or right the wrongs only you know exist, even if it causes more suffering in the end?

omg, i love you! i didnt think anyone would ever directly go from my fic to theirs!!! This is really good! "im going to have to do this all over again"
that brings back people! and better intro!
one thing i wonder, although edward is angry, why does he seem so energetic? i'm so used to reading him being sad and moopey lately... i forgot how much i lovedddd this comm, i think im going to contribute to this place real soon!
Ah, what a nice surprise to have someone respond so unexpectedly. :3
Thanks for the comments. I think it suddenly opens the door for whatever people want--could catalyze another arc in the story--but no one's taken the bait, it would seem....
The answer to your question is that he's scared. :) He's having a nervous breakdown, and those tend to come with thoughts at hyper speeds and lots of shaking.
We've gotta remember that even if someone is in a personality rut--they're exhibiting one type of emotion a lot--we can't make the mistake of letting that be their only personality trait. To make them come alive, we still have to let them be multidimensional. ^___^
haha i know, just when you thought i was dead 8D im always on deviantart than here
im going to take it! im thinking of illustrating some of the sins, definately dante, reillustrating me favorite fic from here andddd maybe writing? i havent written anything in such a long time. if you ever want to dual up with me, let me draw something for this comm's fic, let me know! i'd love to do that.
and thats a good response, and its so true about the one personality thing. Hee hee. I'll try to get something up by saterday!
I have a few things to put up too, mostly centering directly around Nocturn that I"m going to put up now that your comment has made me want to(including Ed running out, thus rbinging us to the world oustide of Hughes's house). What were you thinking of putting up? coordinating is good.

I liked Ed's moment of realization: I am going to have to do this again.
I'm planning on playing, too, as soon as I get this pesky book deadline out of the way, and have a chance to re-read the Rules and existing chapters.

Yeah, I feel the same way about the comm. It's always fun to see what else people can come up with.
Sorry that I haven't replied to your comment earlier. I apparently thought I did but didn't really. :O
