Were I Mr Elric, I wouldn't believe me, in spite of the proof. Sometimes even blatant truths are difficult to believe in the face of personal experience.

It's been a long time since I last visited Hogwarts. I was hoping to return on somewhat better terms.

There is only so much a person can do. If he's determined to hate me, he'll do it no matter what I say or do. It's a shame, but I'm here to find out who did this and bring them to justice the Ministry.

As for everyone else, maybe time will work some of her magic on me. We'll see.

I'd like that. I need to interview all the staff eventually in any case, and that sort of thing always goes better when people are comfortable.
