[Tumnus has been doing a fair job in keeping himself from hiding in his room all the time. He met Samantha recently and bumped into Odette .. both options were better than simply hiding and avoiding everyone altogether, right

[His smile brightens both at seeing Tumnus's expression, and at his words.]
Okay! Great. I'll see you soon, then.
[And he clicks off the video, heading out of the barracks and over to the great hall. He slips inside, then smiles when he spots Tumnus and his set up.]

[Tumnus chuckles softly, but inclines his head.]
Everyone has a series of talents and I have come to learn that making tea is amongst my own. Perhaps not the most adventurous of afternoons, but I believe everyone should be able to sit back and relax if they require it. Inwould be more than happy to teach you how to prepare tea some time, it's not nearly as difficult as it looks.
[When Bobby looks back up a him, Tumnus returns the smile warmly.]
I have been quite blessed in such. The people here, while a times quite peculiar, are warm hearted.

[Tumnus nods, chuckling softly.]
A good portion of the time I would prefer that and nothing more, dear Bobby. I have quite the preference of a quiet evening as opposed to the other options, but there is little choice at times.
[And then he nods, his smile warming.]
I would indeed. I believe everyone should know how to prepare tea.
[Nodding again, the faun moves to prepare Bobby a cup of tea.]
The people here are far kinder than some I've had the pleasure of meeting in the past, without question.
[Tumnus catches that smile and returns it with equal warmth.]
Honestly? Me, too. When I was younger, I thought I'd always want adventure and excitement, but now that I've had it? Give me the quiet evening any day.
[Of course, it's completely possible he'd get bored with only quiet enemies. But the kind of adventure he's had lately, he'd be happy to do without. He watches Tumnus prepare the tea, curious, and then nods.]
Yeah, I know what you mean. It's almost surprising, really, but in a nice way. I think a lot of the people here are similar, aren't used to having this good of a crowd around.
[He doesn't reply to that last bit, but his eyes brighten slightly, and the smile stays put.]

[Tumnus chuckles softly, nodding.]
The innocence of youth...
[Tumnus nods again, bringing the tea cup toward Bobby and setting it gently before him.]
I think that is sadly how it seems to be with many as well. I know this setting is not ideal, but hopefully it will allow a bit of peace to those that need it.

He is smiling, his expression relaxed and warm.]
I would be more than happy to share your company, young Bobby.

This looks amazing.

He glances up as the young man arrives and smiles warmly, shaking his head and shifting his unruly hair.]
This is hardly that much, young Bobby. I made the biscuits and tea, but simply borrowed the supplies from the Hall itself.
The company I've been offered has been, by far, the best part of this affair.

It's impressive to me. But maybe that's because I've kind of failed at any attempt at baking ever. I've never even tried to make tea.
[And then he looks back up with a smile.]
I always found the company to be the best part of a get together, too. I'm glad you've been enjoying yours.

[His smile brightens.]
Would you? I'd like that. It'd be nice to be able to do it for myself, or for others.
[And then he nods, cheerful in his agreement.]
That's what I've found as well. I've yet to really talk to anyone I didn't like. And some I like more than others.
[The last is accompanied by another smile.]

I could very much say the same, young Bobby.

Cream or sugar?
