I'm alone for Thanksgiving, doing schoolwork. My husband and daughter are in Mo, and my eldest will be here Friday night so we can do a Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday. Weird. I hope you get to feeling better. Melancholy isn't fun. :(

Sorry to hear you won't be surrounded by family either. Hubby and I are very probably canceling going to his sister's house tomorrow because I'm having too much trouble with forbidden-food-mistake and job-hunting-stress depression to cope gracefully with saying no (over and over) to 99% of the fabulous spread I've come to expect from his family.

If I knew you better, and it wouldn't creep him totally out (long story involving husbands resentment towards loosing a girlfriend to a guy she met on the internet) I'd invite you over for whatever gluten/casein/soy/sugar free sides I make to go with, um, tomorrow is "chicken day" according to my rotation diet schedule. If I'd been thinking I would have made a seafood substitution and NOT eaten turkey yesterday so I could have it tomorrow, but nothing stopping us from deep frying that bird on Saturday. Maybe that will be my holiday splurge, turkey on chicken day!

go for it!
I appreciate you thinking of me. I am doing ok. I'm planning to spend tomorrow finishing my paper for my psychology class. It is due Dec 1st so it's a big priority.
I am kind of lonely, but part of me enjoys the total lack of responsibility to anyone!
