The Lost Future

You’ve probably all seen this by now, but if not, go check it out. I’ll wait.

Misogynistic politician is misogynistic!I was born in 1969, brought up by idealistic, intellectual hippie parents who fought for  women’s rights and thought they’d won. They taught me that girls and boys are equal and I could grow up to be anything I wanted. That I had ( Read more... )

It is indeed scary. My hope is like in the past when things become so imbalanced, we all come together to push the hate back. That is my hope... but yeah, I don't get why it is happening now, for woman's rights or gay rights.

Oh yes. I remember when, about a decade ago, the pills starting coming out, one could "take 9-12 pills a day and get all the nutrition one could hope for, based on science coming right out of N.A.S.A." Turned out not to be true, anymore than Power Bars are a food substitute, but I remember thinking we were headed towards a Ray Bradbury world ( ... )

the generation that has been holding on to power past their rightful 25 or so years needs to move on. That's the way that it works, one generation moves things forward, the next carries it even further.

I hear you on the hate fatigue, and I think the only solace I find is that posts like yours let me know that it's not just me that is feeling these things...

The generations move on Eric but not before contaminating their children'd minds. Some shake it off and others repeat their parent's mistakes.

Your parents taught you a dream and this dream has to be won. The warped minded will never be obliterated. You have to gather your forces and fight the bastards tooth and nail. They have to learn that they can be whatever they want but have to leave the rest of us alone. The beat goes on, Faustfatale. Women like yourself have to keep stepping up to the plate and demanding control. Women are superior and have to assert their willpower to lead us out of this religious quagmire.

It's religion, Christa, as long as women do not fight and expose it for the idiocy and female hating dogma that it is, the longer it will be used to keep women in their place.
