This is a house of Fringe fans, so you'll be put to the test! The real question is whether these books will be okay for kids ages 10 and 11. Violence isn't an issue for us - the 10-year-old reads Dean Koontz - just sex. From what you've said, sounds like they should be okay...

There are sex scenes in all three books, but not explicit. I'd say OK for teens but maybe not younger kids. Your best bet would probably be to read them yourself first.

I love Fringe! Will there be a lot of casual drug use? It's my favorite part of the show.

The majority of book 1 is set in San Fransisco in 1974, so that's a big yes. Not so much in books 2 and 3.

Can't tell you how excited Fringe fans are for these. We're a very detail-oriented bunch, so we have high expectations. But I'm sure if Bad Robot was involved, you'll do just fine. Can't wait to read these character back-stories -- Especially Peter's since there wasn't much of a chance to find out more in the actual show, and he's my fave character.

Peter is my favorite character, too. I've always wanted to know more about his shady past so I'm realllyyyyy excited for this book!
