Potterpalooza

So let's face it, the summer's been great so far. But you and I both know it was all a formality to kill time until Potterpalooza descended on us all. Near as I can tell, the hype around book #7 is a bit subdued compared to the last time around, seeing as how there don't seem to be any scandals about betting on which characters will be killed off

Oh, my geekdom has been quite public for several months now.

I didn't actually start reading the series until last year at this time, but I'm a quick learner.

Of course, I forgot about that entry. Why do these books suck us in? I managed to avoid them until fall of '04. Then the local bookstore in St. Andrews was closing and everything was 75% off, so I thought what the hell, and bought all 5.

Looks like the Loews at the Commons is really the only choice, but there *are* a zillion showings.
