Ebola.

One of the classes I took this semester was a seminar that focused on the civil war in Uganda. As part of this class, all of the members had the option of taking a trip to Uganda to do field research over Winter Break.

I decided to opt out of this trip and am feeling quite wise in this decision. It looks like the resurgence of the Ebola Virus

i am SO terrified of ebola. no joke. i haven't even seen any of those outbreak movies or anything, my sister just described it to me when i was little, and i've never gotten over it.
so, good job not going to uganda.

Yeah, Ebola's scary. But at least it's mercifully short.

I think I'm less concerned about contracting the disease than I am about traveling to a place where all the medical personnel have been evacuated.
