Intelligent voters?

Ralph Reed lost in the Republican primary for Lt. Governor of Georgia. At least in my view, this implies that Republican voters in Georgia are thinking for themselves and seeing past campaign promises and smarmy smiles. That's quite promising. Now, if only we could get Dems to start thinking, we might be on to something come November.

Turns out this lovely state has an open primary where us crazy transplanted northern liberals can cross over and vote in the repuke primary, which I did to vote only in one race, against Ralph. Problem is the guy who beat him is only slightly less of a crooked, crazy fundy. Didn't want to take any chances, cause most people outside of Atl will vote R in the fall regardless of who it is. Ralph woulda had a decent shot even though the D's have good Lt Gov candidates. And wait for the fall before you call the voters down here intelligent. We do have a governor named Sonny. Go Sabres!
