Okay, because I'm perverse and oppositional on a variety of fronts, I ended up with this part one of a two part fic request response (okay, let's call them two related drabbles so they get close to the actual request). geeky_apple 's request was "Just because a totally overlooked couple, how about Jonas and Margo?" and I promise they actually will be a part ( Read more... )

This is double perfect! I love Sam stories and so cool to get to see his private side AND have it tied to Jonas and Margo...

And the big question: Does this play before or after he became Logan's surgeon...?

More rambling later but thanks for sacrificing work time and same question back: Will you post on Ffnet? After all this seems to become a real, plotted story and not only a snippet like mine...

Glad that this wasn't too much of a diversion from the goal of the fic! (Though it's harder to remember my previously-solid idea of Sam & his family after Latenightrain's beautiful story about him!)

The rest is pretty well in my head so it's a matter of getting to the computer rather than much more actual 'work' to get it done. As for posting... hmm...

...how about... "I will if you will" ...?!? :D

Who says diversions are bad? This is perfect:-)

Maybe with your lack of time and my slow writing we need to find a method to trade mental images ( HP-ish silvery brain matter to dive into or something more shiny SF?)

One of the best things about fanfic is that there are all these side characters with maybe one, two appearances... which then get a story of their own, intertwining with what we know, the universe growing to all sides with new original characters ( ... )

Oh, wow! The worst thing about LJ is that it doesn't send e-mails each time something nice like a response pops up, and even worse, I forget to check, and forget about LJ altogether sometimes!

So a very belated thanks for the nice comments -- along with an apology for not getting part 2 up yet (which actually features the requested couple! :P) Maybe one of these days I will learn to budget my time (oh, yeah, right!)

But seriously -- thanks. It's always so nice to hear that these little M/L universe stories still have someone out there who reads & likes...

Hm, actually it should do exactly that, sending email-notifications, and it does so with me without any of the failures of FFnet notifications....

Just hope you didn't think I'm a ungrateful brat, first prompting for fic and then seeming to ignore it....

Didn't think anything like that of you, but was thinking I was a jerk for ignoring such a nice response. And now, of course, when reading I wonder if I didn't see it and simply fail to respond and let it go so long I'd forgotten about it, which is even worse.

They say sleep deprivation messes with your memory. Gah! Sorry for have such a rotten brain...
