[It takes him a moment to notice the spider pokémon, but when he does he stares and holds his breath.] ...Who else is with you?

[There was no possible way that Sebastian would have a spider with him willingly. From the shadows, it seemed to similar to one he knew.]

... ...Claude?

[ Sebastian takes in the boy's reaction. Whoever this 'Claude' is, he's important to the boy - direly.

He settles on a mysterious and very much fleeting smirk, reaching back with one hand to touch the spider's nearest leg delicately. ]

Bear in mind my warning. [ As he speaks, he reaches forward to turn off the 'Gear. ]

[He watches in mounting horror as 'Claude' allowed Sebastian to touch him so familiarly. It couldn't be that those two would work together-- he needed to know. Sebastian's warning might as well have been spoken to the dead.]

No-- Answer me! Claude! [He grips the gear with both hands, his eyes wide as he tries to find a way to reconnect.]

Miss Chrome. [ He smiles, but it doesn't reach his eyes. ] I would advise that you refrain from further contact with this boy. He's highly suspect.

[There's a part of her that wants to remind him that she's the Mist Guardian of the Vongola Family, and despite being the same age as Ciel, she's more than capable of handling herself.

However, she says nothing, the only thing giving her away is her frown]

[the tone catches her off guard, and that clearly shows. She adopts that straight-faced "Ciel" expression, unamused.] He's my friend and I care about him and I'll do what I have to to make sure he's safe, regardless of what it is I have to do.
