nah, RICE is about all i know, too. i did read a study the other day calling for a re-think of the length of time each icing should last for, but it was just one little preliminary study. an essential part of the 'resting' process seems to involve calling upon friends, partners, and anyone amenable and in shouting distance to do things for you. make sure you don't forget that important component of the procedure!
clearly i AM dense. despite you mentioning each of the r.i.c.e. things in the sentence directly before, AND putting it in capitals, it still took me a while to work out that you were referring to an injury advice acronym, as opposed to those maggot like grains which one has with curry.
The only thing you missed was the other 'r', standing for Refrain. From trying to pop the ankle bubble, that is. It's not a blister.
