A few of these I posted in my October Update, I apologize for the repeats.
Just Listen by
Sarah Dessen - 371 pages "Sarah Dessen's Just Listen made me cry on a plane. It was just so touching, and since I'm a middle sister, Whitney's troubles really hit home with me. Now I think Owen Armstrong is joining the exclusive club started by Marcus Flutie. He's sweet kind, considerate, and gets Annabel in a way no one else does. *le sigh*"
Every Boy's Got One by
Meg Cabot - 352 pages "I enjoyed this, especially after hearing Meg Cabot talk last month. She's so amusing and engaging, and that really come through for me in this book. Her main character is a hoot, just as she is."
Motor Mouth by
Janet Evanovich - 304 pages "This was a fun mystery, definitely more fun than the first in this series,
Metro Girl. A few times the main character reminded me of Stephanie Plum, but before she went totally over-the-top."
New Moon by
Stephanie Meyer - 563 pages "I really really loved the first book in this series,
Twilight. I'd heard from a few people, including
melora98, that this second book was not as good. And while the tone was completely different, I totally loved it. Yay for Edward and Bella!"
The Abortionist's Daughter by Elisabeth Hyde
- 304 pages "I liked this book. Part murder mystery, part wrestling with your inner demons. I was not prepared to be sucked-in so completely. I especially identified with the main detective and his struggles. The only thing I didn't like was the title, as the book didn't really focus on the daughter."
