The weekend ... thank goodness!

Last night I had dinner with my cousin, who's a freshman in college, going to one of the big universities in town. The wrong university if you ask me, but no one did. So we're at Borders doing some shopping and she's trying to find a card for a cousin on her dad's side who just had a baby. She pick up this card that's got two cartoon drawings on it

This guy I work with was spouting off recently about how he didn't believe in eloping and that if you get up there in front of your family and friends than it's more real.

huh. i have to say, having been throught the wedding planning thing once before, I can see the attractiveness of eloping (especially if you get caught up in all the "supposed to"s)... but for me, now... it so much more important to have my friends and family with me - it's about the party more than the ceremony.

Having been through the wedding thing once, I can totally see the upside to eloping. lol. Mind you, I wouldn't change a thing about the actual day, but the planning process was a bit much at times. lol. If I ever do it again, I'd be all for eloping. :D

I'm all for eloping and I've not even done my own, just seen others go through it

I've never been to urban outfitters. I need to go. Marie loved that store. She had a nice quilt from there. Also the band, Semi Precious Weapons has a line of jewerly in there ... there and barneys (I think). Fun stuff.

yes, that card is very sexual, but I could see how I might have been more innocent at 18.
