PWP has it's place, but I find it less fun to write than something with a sense of character and of the motivations behind the sex. Besides, sex without some sort of emotional connect is nowhere near as hot *g*

I loved the last three paragraphs because you didn't fall into the trap of having House say "I love you", but you had Wilson know when it happens anyway. Wilson *would* imagine House actually saying it, but I like that your House doesn't seem to feel the need TO say it, instead letting it come out in physical gestures.

House doesn't say it unless he has a specific reason to. And just feeling it isn't a good enough reason. Wilson's sentimental, but then, he knows House, and he knows how House shows how he feels. I get the feeling that House thinks, if you have to say it, you're doing something wrong.

And Wilson knows that it's easy to say "I love you" whether you mean it or not. And that House lies like crazy. But that he's rarely genuinely happy, so the moments when he is are more important than anything he might feel like saying.

I'm a sucker for the cuteness of these two in general, even in canon, so my fics seem to be picking up on that mood. I'm glad you liked *g*
