The Wheels on the Bus...Don't actually go round as often as you think -0-

As the title of the journal says, the bus system here isn't as reliable as it seems --; But despite a few troubles here and there I've had a very successful first few days in Tacoma! Not only have I learned bus routes, I went for a walk around town, made an awesome music video (which is posted on Facebook), explored the Point Defiance Marina, and ( Read more... )

You'll have to let me know which coffee shop ends up being your favorite. Isn't Washington state known for it's coffee shops, or is that exclusive to Seattle?

Your adventures sound like a lot of fun. The bus system here is nightmarish, too, but I'm getting more familiar with it as well. The animals you get to work with seem really cool! Does E.O the Meerkat's name stand for something? :)

Indeed Washington is XD It's basically the "coffee" state, which much a-due about it. Considering the fact that Starbucks originated there and a lot of other factors (aka it's rainy and cold all the time and tea is quite necessary).

The bus system has been a little unreliable, but I appreciate the convenience and the avaliability! Go public transportation systems :P

The name stands for "Edward O Wilson" XD Aka "Darwin's Bulldog"

The coffee culture really interests me. I love coffee and tea and its different cultural significance. I didn't even drink coffee before I moved to Italy. Then I went back to America for university and I find my taste for Starbucks is ruined. A teaching assistant for my college writing on evil class told me about a drink called London Fog, which was Earl Grey tea with steamed milk. It was certainly intriguing.

What is your favorite type of flower to garden, or the most rewarding?

I don't really have a favorite type of flower, and I rarely garden...I'm just thinking about it since we need to spruce up the area around the front yard and I might have some free time in the afternoons. I picked up a gardening guide when I went to visit the arboretum, so we'll see if I can find anything fun at the local groceries :3
