Btw working retail during the holiday season sucks. I know that this job is just part time and it is overall not that stressful, but... people can be so mean sometimes. It pushes my smile and nod to the breaking point ( Read more... )

Yeah, Christmas can bring out the best , but also the worst in peeps. I'm glad I don't do it anymore, I think boxing day was the worst. It'll all be over soon.

You sound like you have many fun toys. The harmonics guitar sounds awesome. Do you have a pic?

Soon enough. Add coffee to the holidays and people become downright psycotic. Makes lots of fun for me. No one can ever say that it is un-interesting.

The harmonics guitar is as yet unbuilt. The idea is from Glenn Branca and can be built from hardware store items (not including the pickup). Yes toys are good. Most of my toys are discards from other people. I'm not above the question, "are you using that?" or "are you really going to throw that away?" or my fav, "what are you gonna do with the old one?"
