Look, I just wanted to say - dude I totally understand losing a muse, I've lost several in my time, and it's always annoying when I'm pestered by people to play them so I wanna be clear this is not me whining and demanding that you should play him more anyway BUT I really have to say:
At the risk of sounding as stalker-esque as my character, you are my most favorite James. I tend to tailor my exact portrayal of Peter to who I'm playing with at the time to get across exactly how I think his turn to darkside happened, but when tagging you I don't have to tone anything up or down - it just works.
I've seen a lot of people try for the blithely charismatic and fail utterly, but you are like a freaking shooting star or something. Of course James got away with everything and got the girl in the end.
So, um, yes. I understand not wanting to play a character, but. It makes even the crappiest day a little awesome when I see a tag from you.
Sorry about not having a contact post, I should probably put one up.
Ohhhh this made my day! Thank you so so so much. I adored mischiefmade. That was the most fun I think I'd ever had with James. Your Peter and Kate's Sirius and Lily just all clicked so well with my Prongs. I'm really, really glad to have randomly found you guys.
I've interacted with other Peters but yours too is by far the best that I've encountered. You make him real, and not a monster or a sniveling weakling like you see so often. He's the perfect balance of "could have been" and "will be", which is hard to do, but you pull off flawlessly.
My issue is that I have had some ooc problems in the past with the HP fandom. I don't want to be involved in that again, but I do miss James and I do miss the really fun threads. For now, I have decided to take James out of retirement somewhat. He won't be a fully active muse and I will keep him low key but I will have him play with muns that I am already familiar with and trust. That list is short, but you are definitely on it. :)
