Would you live forever, if you had the choice?A difficult question, but in the end, I would say that yes, I would. I have few true friends or family, who it would cause me pain to watch die, and my associates tend to come and go with some regularity in any case. It helps that I have already died once, as I said. I returned due to some foresight on my part, and I have no desire to die again, if I can avoid it.

Sadly, I am immortal, and have never had the choice.

Although I do think a better question would have been something along the lines of, if you are immortal would you ever become mortal, and vice the versa. Considering the sheer number of such beings flitting about.

Yes, there do seem to be rather a lot of them. Vampires, and... others.

But surely once you were - or believed yourself to be - mortal and destined to remain so?

I've had friends or...others I knew, come back from death. That's rarely a 'free lunch' as some might say.
