The Introduction
1. What is your name, and what do you prefer to be called?
My name's Taylor and that's how I'd like to be addressed.
2. How old are you?
16
3. How did you come across our community? (If you were
referred by a member, please mention them so we can give them credit!)
I saw it credited in someones profile but I can't for the life of me
remember who it was.
The Canon
4. Choose a character not from Harry Potter (ie: from Lord
of the Rings, House, etc) and explain what house (Gryffindor,
Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin) you think they would have been in and
why.
Jim Halpert from The Office (US) is my life. It's very difficult to
decide where he is because he's such a nice guy but he's always messing
with Dwight. So maybe Gryffindor....no, he chickened out of that fight
with Pam's ex. No bravery there. I'm thinking he's a very clever
Hufflepuff. =D
5. What character do you most relate to?
My favorite characters are Slytherin but I relate most to probably Ron,
even though I'm a girl. I'm a bit of a sidekick with my friends and I
sort of have a big family (lots of step-brothers).
6. Choose one aspect of the story as told by Rowling that you
dislike, and tell us how you would change it. (Please avoid the
subjects of romance and shipping.)
I can't pick out too much I dislike about the books. To me, they're
perfect. But if I had to choose something, it would probably be
Dumbledore's death. It was just so sad!
The Person
7. If you could put a memory in a pensieve for the specific purpose
of viewing it later, what would it be and why?
I know people like Snape and Dumbledore put their bad memories in a
pensieve which seems smart but I'd want to put in a good memory so I could
watch it over and over. Maybe like some really hot sex. Lol!
8. What are three traits that define you? How has each trait had
positive impact and negative impact on your life?
Hmm...I think my 3 defining traits would be my hate for authority,
need for control, and quick mind .
My hate for authority gets me into trouble alot with the folks but it's
made me an independent person so I guess that affects me positively and
negatively. My need for control doesn't really affect me positively, it
just makes me really neurotic which can be a bit of a problem. My quick
mind though does me a world of good. I always seem to have a solution
to a problem. Sometimes the solution is something no one else expected
or thought of. Also it helps in school and studying. I have an almost
photographic memory which makes taking tests really easy. =D
9. What is one specific thing that you have never done but strongly
wish to do sometime in your life?
Get a tattoo. A star on my right shouler blade. Stars are so played out
I know! But their so cute!
The World
10. What is your biggest pet peeve and why?
People telling me what to do. I just feel my anger growing inside when
I'm being bossed around and it takes everything I have not to snap.
Also when people talk down to me. OH GOD. DON'T GET ME STARTED.
11. Describe the people you admire most. What do they have in
common with each other? How are they different?
The people I admire most...hmm... Well I admire a handful of
celebrities. I adore Johnny Depp, not only is he amazingly attractive but I truly
believe he is the greatest actor of this generation. Vanessa Paradis
(his ladaay) inspired me to learn french and I just admire the way she
has persevered from when she was a young teen to now. But in my life with
the people around me, I admire my cousin. She's incredibly independent,
like me. She's a national champion Irish dancer who once she turned 18
just up and left Connecticut for London where she now studies Art
History. I would love to do that but I don't think I have the balls.
12. How do you think people see you? Does the person you show to the
public differ from the person you are on the inside? Explain.
I think many people may think I'm very shy and stupid. And that's
completely not true. I'm sort of shy in public just because I get a little
anxiety in social settings but I'm actually rather loud and obnoxious.
People don't think I'm stupid because of the way I act. I think people
in general think everyone is stupid and that they are just that much
more clever than the rest of the population. But I don't like to speak up
in class. In fact I hate it, I hate being put on the spot like that. So
people assume I'm either too shy or don't know the answer to what's
being asked. Most of the time I do know the answer I just refuse to talk.

13. Which hybrid house do you believe you are the most like? Make a
case for and a case against your placement there.
Well I would love to be in Slytherdor but I'm not sure if I'm as brave
as a Gryffindor should be. I think I'm very clever and cunning like a
Slytherin...I will admit to putting myself first at times. I can be
quite selfish. But at the same time I'm a very sweet person and I always
want everyone to feel good.
So I think I belong in Slytherpuff. Haha, how schizo is that?
14. Which hybrid house do you believe you are the least like? Make a
case for and a case against your placement there.
Probably Gryffinclaw. Like I said, I don't think I have what it takes
to be a Gryffindor and even though I said I have a quick mind, like
those intelligent Ravenclaws, I can use it against others pretty easily
(blackmail anyone?).
