Thanks. I think she is making a lot of sense, and I already try to stick to the rules/strong suggestions she was advocating up until I stopped watching. I'm afraid I found it painful to listen to her :( I mean that with no disrespect, it was just the way she sounds is set at a pitch that sets my teeth on edge ( I thought at first she was putting it on, and was going to break out in a witch-like shriek any moment for some reason). It set off quite a negative, kneejerk reaction.
I might try again sometime using captions, if there are any.
Yeah, she does have a bit of a grating voice, and I suppose I should have warned about her tendency to swear.
She is well organized and does have a handle on presenting information in a way that gets to the point, however. To each their own. :) Dialog tags are only something I started to think about recently.
I don't mind swearing so much, I just have reactions to certain types of voice - rarely, I get a strong physical/emotional reaction to a particular person's voice. During my teens there was a Sociology teacher at school whose class I was moved up into, and as she started talking I would switch off! So embarrasing to hear her mention the fact just before my head hit the desk. Usually only lasted a few minutes, but I tried all I could not to do it. I have no idea what she thought of me - never mentioned it, but I think she thought I was an undiagnosed narcoleptic XD
