Beltane Fire - Prologue / Revised Chapter 1
Hullo friends! In case some of you are following Beltane Fire, I thought I’d mention that I shoe-horned in a new Prologue and revised the first chapter. Some of the drabbles will be 200 words in length at intervals to improve the story.

Ponder ponder ponder.
I want to do the sshg-giftfest, but I haven’t reached my writing goals for the year yet and if I don’t commit I might be able to pinch hit/beta for someone else.
An art might suffice? My version of Snape isn’t a pretty bloke, at least the one time I finished it and I use a lot of references. Because I am not very practiced.

Happy Memory
Visiting my son at camp this weekend brought back lots of happy memories. I spent a large amount of my time in the summer during my adolescence at sleep away camps (mostly Girl Scouts, then two seasons at Brevard that ruined my bow arm, but that's another story ( Read more... ) -

So as you all know, one of the things that makes me happy is supporting our authors and spreading the word. There are some fans who have placed reviews for their favourite works on Goodreads which has the potential to do a lot of good things I think. I don’t know a lot about the subject so I thought I would ask the hive mind here.

Overwriting / Feeling Called Out ;)
So, I tripped over this video just now. The premise is that fanfic writers have "tells" that spill over into original/professional writing - things that need to be fixed. Alexa Donne is interesting and makes good points (does come off a bit preachy but duh... that's the point!)
