Last week was a really busy week for me. Besides a whole truckload of schoolwork and tests, I also had track practice and MVALs. On Wednesday I had MVALS to qualify to get into finals. The only event I ran was the 65 m hurdles. I was supposed to run the 300 too, but I accidentally forgot to check in, and well you know the rest. I was also going to high jump at the last minute, but then I wasn't allowed to because it was too late to sign up for it. In order to qualify for finals, you either had to a)Get first in your heat, or b)Get the second best time after. Luckily for me, I came in first in my heat, so I automatically advanced to finals. (: Awesome job to Alyssa Tran, who came in second and qualified also. On Friday I had to run the 4 x100 meter relay, and I was last leg. I don't really like being last leg because it always seems like everything depends on you. But oh well. We had pretty good handoffs, so I'm satisfied. And when it came to run the 65 meter hurdles, I came in third, xD even though I kicked down all the hurdles. :X. So I'm pretty happy to say that I did fairly okay at my first MVALs.
On Saturday, I went to Paramount's Great America with Diana and Michelle. But before PGA I was at the Warm Spring's Safeway getting people to sign up for Escrip to support our school and track team. After working there for around an hour, I got picked up.. after a few technical difficulties and we were off to PGA.
This is lovely group of people that I was with for escrip. From left to right: Sammie, Jonathan, Jesus with a whopping 23 rejections (ouch), and Angela.
Yeah, this is what track and lacrosse does to you after a while.
This was in the line at PsychoMouse. I thought it was cool how the wall was the same color as what Diana was wearing.
:)
Wanda and Cosmo! <3 Notice how Cosmo's touching Diana's butt.
They were selling these NIFTY hamburger/hotdog hats at the store, and Michelle modeled the hats for me.
We had absolutely no idea what that was, and we still don't.
Don't you love how both of us aren't looking at the camera?
Diana saw Patrick, so she took off running after him, but she never caught him. :(
Look at how dark I am! This was on the merrygoround.
This was the camel that Michelle wanted to ride on so desperately. When she finally rode on the camel, she didn't like it.
This was the half rabbit half horse that Diana rode on.
Notice how I took these pictures WHILE we were on the ride. I was so terrified that I'd drop and break my camera, but luckily I didn't.
I love these pictures. Diana is a heavy sleeper, heavier than I am, and that means a lot. :O. When we were taking these pictures, Michelle and I were rolling on the floor laughing, literally.
So I guess this concludes my picture post. Toodles.
