How "hard" should life be?

Has anyone ever looked back at their life and really thought about the things we did? Choices we made? Ok, so that was a dumb question. Of course we all do that

I don't have any wonderful words of advice other than this: I believe that the perpetrators of such unspeakable, hateful acts are creating their own suffering, which is going to be far far worse than what they inflicted on others. I hope that all of you will find some peace when you are able.
