everyone seems to be posting depressing posts, and i got some more negativity for everyone. YAY! first of all, i just want to say that i'm really pissed about the grade i got on my completely uncreative project. it would have been much more creative to do a power point just like everyone else. of course! it takes absolutely no talent, allows you to ( Read more... )

i definately agree about the whole merry christmas thing. and i loved your shoes, that was super awesome and creative. don't worry, all the hard work you do and your creativity will get noticed when your making high fashion shoes and those other kids are the ones pumping your gas ;)

thanks. that's how i feel. i like them and i'm proud of them, i really don't care if he didn't like my shoes. i wouldn't expect him to know anything about fashion. but i would expect him to know when something was creative, and he obviously didn't. it wasn't just the shoes either, the presentation board was the most creative project in the class. so i basically had the two most creative projects in the class. i should have got a 20/10 in creativity instead of a 6/10.

Are you taking fashion dynamics? If you are, then that would explain why you got a bad grade. The evil witch teaching that class is intimidated by creative people, because she is a very uncreative, dull cow. Continue to be you and be creative, you're good at it! (I nearly failed her class.) You can be creative and receive bad grades for it. Don't let it get you down!

(At AE we don't tell people Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays, or any of that stuff) People say "Merry Christmas" and I just think, eh, still too early for that, but tell 'em thank you.

nope, it was for college and career. ms. erickson gave me a 93 on it but the other judge gave me a 68. i wanted to take fashion but everyone told me that she was a witch. i'm glad i didn't take it because i would have definitely given up on it if everyone kept telling me everything i did was crappy. that would kill me.

i'm not celebrating christmas. is this about the whole target deal? i agree with them. i'm not saying merry christmas either. screw christmas. it's not about anything but getting gifts and having 2 weeks off from school. we might as well say xmas, because there is no christ in ANY holiday anymore. society has made it that way, and the church has allowed it to do so. ok...so there's my speech for the day.

i think you should've gotten extra credit in addition to a perfect score for your radiantly beautiful project.

it wasn't about target really, i didn't even know about that. it was really about an episode of the o'reilly factor. why was i even watching it? but i'm glad i did because this awesome guy made a parody to the night before christmas and said "happy holidays" to bill. it was hilarious. anyway, you are so so right about christ not being in the holidays anymore. i was about to cry when i read this article a few minutes ago. they were talking about how lawyers sued towns because their holiday displays were considered too secular and forced them to include nativity scenes. people are so wrapped up in the politics that it's really hurting people. like that guy in florida who made a santa dummy and hung him in a tree. that's aweful. i feel sorry for the kids. this guy said in the article "With all that's going on, I mean kids are dying every day in the war, and this is what we're worried about? People have too much time on their hands." he is so right.

anyway, now that you read that long thing. thanks. i think so too.
