To me, MT is "machine translation", but I don't know any "RT" in that paradigm.
Given that fp posts via twitter, "my tweet" and "retweet"? These are my guesses based on a v quick eyescan of the ghits for /define:../.

LTO will do, though I will note that there are simply times at bleep in the morning when one's Google fu is weak. Also when one feels an impulse to get all "kids these days and their Internets" on Twitter.

found it on Google and made fun of me for not doing likewise. Apparently I am now an LTO, or Lazy Twitter Overlord. :-)
EDIT: And I forgot to actually say what the answer was. MT is Modified Tweet (ie, shortened, generally).
