recently my mom emptied out an old cupboard and laid in front of me a pile of old drawings I did as a kid. Most of them were school reports I hadn't seen in over 20 years. We had a good chuckle, and she asked if I wanted them. I thought about it for less than 3 seconds and said "no". I said something to the effect of "they'll just go into storage for 20 more years. I had forgotten about them completely, so they aren't that important. We've had this little trip down memory lane...I'm good

Thank you so much for the input. That's what I wanted to hear--someone else's opinion letting me know that I'm not nuts for not keeping everything, and giving me a way in which I can win-win. We do a lot of digital storage, but some things are so tangible, and a photo doesn't really do it justice, and then you feel all conflicted.
