Hi there! Stopping by to say that I think this is really lovely, and that this bit --

... the toy men all lying down hugging each other ...

Made me laugh out loud, for real. Nicely done! :-)

*grins*

I'll admit I was just a teeny bit anxious -- it's like these ficverses become your children, in a way. But I think you did a marvelous job.

*hugs*

Whoops, forgot to mention that I posted about this on my LJ.

LOL. I bet you weren't as anxious as me. All day long, I was thinking that I might as well hand you a cross and nails :)

I've had some wonderful comments about the fic and I've just replied to a PM, saying that you must take a lot of the credit for it, as you set up the 'verse in the first place. Oh, and in case you haven't read the comments, a lot of people have mentioned that they loved "Duck Duck Goose" and "Ugly Duckling". I'm so pleased about that.

I've just been to your LJ and I've seen the rec. How very kind. To think I was very nervous about sending you a PM. (I'm a little in awe of you, I guess.) You're really sweet.

*hugs back*

It's very kind of you to comment now. Thank you.

It's impossible not to be moved by Nightdog's first two stories in this 'verse. It's nice to think that someone as damaged and self-absorbed as House will still stick to his friend's side like glue should Wilson ever become incapacitated. (This notion has been backed up to some extent in the episode "Wilson"

Happy holidays.

I love this story! Especially:

"And you love veg-tables," he murmurs sadly, already half asleep.

God, I almost bawled at that line. Beautiful!

Glad you like it.

Yes, it is a very sad line, particularly as this Wilson has so much life and love in him.

Thank you for leaving a comment.
