Please post the next chapter soon! I absolutly adore that story. And I normaly hate everything that is connected with deathstory in any kind of way. But you somehow really wrote it so well that I found myself reading and really adoring the story. Even when my vision sometimes blurrs.

Hi, and welcome to my journal. I'm very happy that you like the story. To be truthful, I don't really consider it to be a real deathstory, because Wilson's back!

Next chapter should be posted in about three and a half weeks time, and it will be extremely sad.

Thank you for leaving a comment :)

oddly fond of Peter... anonymous September 19 2007, 20:59:42 UTC
not usually a fan of kidfic, but I have to let you know that I'm really enjoying Peter with his lovely blend of childishness and wisdom. Peter's declaration that the world had stopped spinning made me laugh out loud but through sympathetic sniffles: it seemed such a great mix of Wilson with his new incarnation. Anyway...just so you know that I'm eagerly awaiting the next update. Thanks for sharing this with us!

Thank you so much. I love it when somebody states that they actually like Peter, because it was a gamble, creating a child that's a central character. Like you, most people hate kidfics.

It's interesting that you have mentioned Peter's declaration, because I was foreshadowing a segment of chapter 3. You'll see what I mean when you read it :)

Thank you for reading my story and for leaving such a nice comment :)

What a lovely surprise: you updated! And, you know, left us in a horrible spot all worried about Peter, but it's not like I'm going to blame you for that. :-)

Favorite moments: Peter's new shirt and singing from Joseph (made me get my CD out and sing along!) Getting to see Original!Wilson (instead of Peter, who is Wilson 2.0 the upgrade) in the flashback. The way that Peter is obviously confusing the details of friendship, because--well, look what he's got to base his assumptions on.

I do hope you can drag yourself away from the DVDs to update soon...you've got me quite worried about our boy!

Hello again.

You love Joseph, too? My whole family are huge fans and I have recently purchased the Donny Osmond version on DVD which is truly excellent :)

Thank you for your comment and for letting me know, specifically, what you liked. That's always useful.

I do hope you can drag yourself away from the DVDs to update soon

Yes, I've memorized the whole blooper reel, so I no longer feel compelled to watch it :) I have started to write the next chapter, so keep your eyes peeled!

Joseph was my first musical! I must have been around 7, and I remember my mother had to stop me from humming along because I didn't know you were supposed to be quiet in the theatre. We went home afterwards and put the LP on (age alert!) and listened to it over and over. I probably have about 75% of the lyrics by heart...a total waste of brain space, but I do adore it!

My eyes are peeled...bring on the angst! :-) One other thing I should have mentioned before: I love how House is slowly becoming more human. The friendship with Lee, interactions with Peter's teachers...it's wonderful to watch the character development while still seeing the old House in all of it. You're managing the evolution very credibly...well done!

Ah, I also like going to the theatre to watch musicals. In January, I am going to see "Lord of the Rings-the Musical" which should be interesting. It's had mixed reviews but the costumes and effects are supposed to be stunning.

We have loads of L.Ps here, as well. In fact, my hi-fi system still has a record player on it, and I don't want to part with it, even though the tape player is giving up the ghost! I heard that L.Ps are making a comeback, D.Js like playing them.

Thank you for your comment about House. He's very tricky to get right; he's half sadist and half as cute as a button! Not sure that you'll like him in my next chapter, we'll have to wait and see :)

I just found this story and "Duped" from a link on HW_requests. Such an interesting premise--I decided to check it out thinking the story probably wouldn't work--but it really does. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

I found Dumped hw_request, and I was unsure about reading it because if was a death fic. I decided to give it a chance, and skim through the story and see if I like it. It was amazing. I started to actually read the story half way through, even though I just wanted to skip to the end. It's one of my favorites now. (But I'll have to start from the beginning to get the full story) The story is sweet, and like no other. Everything fits so well.
I'm glad you started a sequel. It's good to know that their lives are doing well, even if they still do have some problems.
Peter is just to cute, and I can see how similar he is to Wilson. I love how House and Wilson have such a great relationship in the show, and I can see the same thing here.

Hi. Thank you for reading my story (or at least, the last half of the story!) and I'm very glad that you liked it. I hope you like the beginning of Duped just as much.

Things are not going to go so well for the boys in chapter 3 of the sequel, so be prepared for that :) The story will end on a happy note, though.

I'm glad you stated that you think Peter is similar to Wilson, that comment has pleased me no end. I, too, love the H/W relationship in the show, it's the main reason that I watch it.
