So I have a lot of finals that are pretty weighty (40% of my grade for math) and I'm having a REALLY hard time getting myself to work. Right now I have until 4:30 in the afternoon for the math final and though that leaves me plenty of studying time, I should have started earlier

Good luck on your exams!
I know what you mean, last semester I had 4 finals... one every day and I spent the entire two weeks before finals studying for chem because i really liked that class and then i didn't study for any of my other classes until the day before... luckily I was on pass/no record =)

I'm the same way. I study things I already know and put off studying the things that are hard.

for totes. when i try to study stuff i dont understand, i get sad and move onto something more comfortable. which is why ive been getting F--'s on my chemistry exams and therefore going to get an F-- on the final. for the second semester in a row. ms schwennsen taught us NOTHING!

I honesty like Schwennsen. I learned a lot from that class...though I also had a tutor to supplement that.

Alright, I guess. Last semester's exam was easier (I used it to study) and they got a cheat sheet. This semester was pretty damn hard. I figure I got better than the class average? The curve is going to be ridiculous.

dude a few hours after you wrote this my physics professor sent out an email with the exam results. average 64, standard dev 29. 29!!!!!!! i left mine in my folder without even looking at it. there it shall stay until the course administrator throws them all out to make room for the new freshmen. there it shall stay...
