...in the form of cake. This is thee BEST damn cake i have ever made. My french recipes have wonderful results, but they consume 5+ hours of your time and can fall apart at almost any point in the process. Hmm... don't think I've ever had a 'stout' cake - that is, a cake with an alcohol component.

Do you know of any local restaurants that make such things?

I highly doubt it in this country, especially up here. Its a type of cake you'd find in a high class Austrian Hotel, except they'd never admitt it was Guiness. A really nice southern thing (ie: southern US) is J.D. or some other type of hard liquor in chocolate cakes.
