Trying to Send Cards But...

Dec 12, 2010 13:50

I'm working on my holiday cards. I guess it's a sign of the times, but I have almost no real life addresses for people I care about. I have emails like crazy, but very few people seem to keep real life address books updated these days.

cards, real life, mundane, address, holiday

~Hello~Fayme~

It often depends on the level of interactions, but I find friendship requires taking ones time and a having the desire for gaining more of a mutual understanding of one another. Real is only what becomes more than just a fleeting impression, something only temporary. At least you have something to remember and share during more isolated moments. Perhaps just thoughtful times of peace and introversion.

Warm Greetings,
Thomas

I keep a real address book and most of those on there are my LJ friends. I made a card alread for this year I'll be sending out. Don't know if you saw it. It's of the White Seal. I'll probably start printing those tonight or tomorrow. I'm behind on sending stuff off.

BTW, I know you're busy with commissions and Christmas and stuff, but I was wondering what level of crochete you can do? I just got the pattern for some budgies and I was hoping you could make them and if so how much. No rush I can even wait til next year if your schedule is full. I posted about that too a few days ago.

Sheesh I must have answered this only in my mind. I don't really work from other people's patterns. I'm sorry I kept you waiting so long.
Right now I'm behind on my 3 scarf tutorials for the special olympics. I sent one in, but have the 2nd one only halfway knitted and the third one not even started. Oh my where does the time go?
