[ToG] Subevent No.14, Request: The Unsigned Letter (SPOILERS)
I offered to translate _______'s letter for tupperwarecrisp, so here it is. :) I DIDN'T HAVE HUBERT IN MY PARTY sob so I don't know what his lines are (assuming this request is still available by the time you get him on your party).

Subevent No.14, Request: The Unsigned Letter
Client: Richard

"To the absent you. For the first time in quite a while I've had the opportunity to pass by Lhant. I wanted to leave you a letter, but the contents are rather personal - I don't want just anyone to see it. I'll hide it at [the place at which we swore friendship] as children."

(At the promised place: Asbel & co. find a certain something at the foot of the tree.)
Asbel: Is this a letter?
Cheria: I wonder if it's something someone wrote.
Asbel: Huh...? It's addressed to me.
Malik: Is it from someone from Lhant?
Asbel: The sender's name isn't written...
Sophie: Asbel, aren't you going to read it?
Asbel: I wonder if it's okay to...
Pascal: It's got your name written on it, so there shouldn't be a problem?
Asbel: Alright, then, I'll read it.
Dispensing with the preliminaries, I wonder how long it's been since we last met? I've heard that you've been working hard at the Knights Academy in the capital. Just the other day, I was struck by a bout of nostalgia, and I wanted to set out for the academy you were at. (In secret, of course.)
However, to my disappointment, I was told that you haven't been to the academy in quite a while, and I couldn't get any specific reasons for it. So I thought, perhaps maybe! and I came all the way back here to Lhant. But of course, you weren't here, either. Thus, I decided to leave a letter. Supposing I made a request - you'd be the only one to read this, I thought. My apologies for doing this in such a roundabout manner. Ah, that's right, I've very nearly forgotten to mention the point of this all.
It's about the issues at home... they've gotten a bit chaotic. Perhaps, this might even be the last time I'll be able to write a letter to you. Honestly, all I wanted was to see your face... but I couldn't bear to be a burden to you. Anyway, take care of yourself.
I eternally pray for our unchanging friendship--
Asbel: There's a date written at the end. It's from a year ago...
Malik: Seems like things were pretty troublesome.
Cheria: Hey, the person who wrote this letter...
Asbel: There's only one person I can think of who'd hide a letter here... He-- I bet he was looking for help.
Sophie: Asbel... One day. Let's gather here again. The three of us, together.
Asbel: Yeah. Under this tree, let's swear it on our friendship.
Cheria: (Asbel, you're wrong. Richard wasn't looking for help. All he really wanted was to just... see you again. To leave the castle, he would've exposed himself to more and more danger. But even then...)
Asbel: Cheria, is something the matter?
Cheria: Oh, no. I'm fine.
Cheria: (I wanted to see you, too...)
