I swear vampires are the answer. If we had a real natural predator we wouldn't be so numerous and then if a few elites wanted shark fin soup the ocean would even notice, but no, there's so many damn many of us that even stupid status foods are screwing things up....though the whole fishing industry in general is WACKED. which is really bad because fish is good for us and if we managed our numbers and our practices better we could have sustainable healthy food AND not fuck up whole ecosystems.

and, since shark meat is totally an edible food why are they wasting it when the take the fins? If they're going to kill them they could at least make use of the whole animal. But no, they kill MORE sharks for shark steaks. STUPID.
