Why Do I Care?

There will be a letter read at the meeting of our Board of Trustee’s and I am wondering why I care? Our town is turning into a junkyard, abandoned vehicles, trash in the ditches, and those of us who have for the all the years I have been here  (coming on fourteen), are getting to the place in our lives when it is time for the younger ones to take ( Read more... )

I like it when we get a "babbling post" from you Fayzee. It gives a peek into your life and feelings. You seem to be aging quite elegantly, an example for all of us to follow. Thanks for being you. (At least the part of you we see here at Live Journal.)

Thanks, I seem to babble a lot; it's one of the nicer days here now, so I am outside for most of today....hope your days are good, too.

What you read and what you see in me, is what you get; I have never been good at trying to be anything except what I am; sometimes it is a bit much, even for me, but I continue to try to tolerate myselfe and I hope I am aging "quite well"; I am fighting it often, but must realize it is the process that makes me short of breath, tired, and all that good stuff that goes with it. So far, so good, and thanks for your kind words.

What a cute cat; he looks like Sunday, and he lived for nineteen years. The longest I ever had a cat, and he was a character, like all cats, of course, but his antics were a bit far out even for a cat.
Our town will probably remain exactly what is now is; but at least one person who heard my letter said he was going to clean his mess up, so one out of three, though not a good percentage, is better than none at all!

Theodore is my baby...he weighed almost 20 pounds till he went missing for the eight days. He is still big but a bit on the lean side. He turned 7 in April or that is when I found him and his brother..and they were still infants..lol. Mama tried to hide them well...she gave birth to them in the top of the barn and they were separated by a rafter. One was on one side and the other was on the other.. I always wondered why Pusspuss did that.. she favored Thaddeus over Theodore and that is the only reason I could think of.
