Thanksgiving 2024
We normally get together with our friends for Thanksgiving, but they’re traveling so we’re going to get together Sunday instead.
That meant we didn’t really have much to do on the actual day. Long ago I came up with an alternate to the "crab rangoon" appetizer a local Chinese place had with chicken and rice instead of dairy products.
It takes a lot of work to make, but my wife and I both like it. So, after making a big breakfast and doing a few loads of laundry, I made those.
Our Godkids and their family did call us in the evening, which was nice.
I’m not big on going shopping on "Black Friday", but did go to the supermarket for some additional items today.
Some of you may remember that it seems like when my wife and I watch the Lord of the Ring’s movies, or even read the books, people die. Or if I don’t finish the books, just get very sick.

But, we decided to risk it and watch our favorite tonight, The Fellowship of the Ring.
It’s really the only one I like.
Hopefully no issues tomorrow or on my travels to China the day after tomorrow.
I guess we’ll see.
