As our last show was a month ago, we decided to have a practice before the show this Sunday.
In case of bad weather that gave us next Sunday as a backup, but the weather was fine so up to Tom’s we went where his kids were practicing gift wrapping the cat. Or, the cat was helping them wrap presents for their teachers. Who thought which was which was not clear. But, the cat seemed to be having a good time.
It was cold enough for frost on the grass, but who knows what it will be like in 2 weeks when we do the show?
As everyone there had been doing fire with us for a minimum of a decade, we only lit up the things folks wanted to specifically practice.
Yes, he only lit one on purpose.
He did have a lot of fire on his juggling sticks. And, it’s a good thing the ground was cold given how much of it he set on fire… (Yes, it is on purpose. And Tom who owns the yard is fine with it…)
We did finish before dark and got a good moonrise on the way home.
