My payment OCD has necessitated a wipe-off/cork board. There's a Calender, a wipe-off marker, several bills tacked on the cork and some invitations. There're magnets holding notices and things written on days complete with my transaction registry below it waiting for the day's receipts, all of this is above my computer, where most of the bills are

You turned me into an organizing MONSTER. I alphabetize things. I catalog my movies. I have a FILE for EVERYTHING-- including little file-holding BOX that keeps THOSE organized for me. I have little organizing BASKETS in my living room for the little extra stuff and even THOSE are organized by what they're used for. I have those lidded containers in my kitchen that you can get from Wal-mart or Bed Bath and Beyond for my flour, sugar, powdered sugar, brown sugar, corn starch etc AND I bought a label maker because you can't see through them SO THEY ARE LABELED.
