Whoops, nearly missed my homework!

Whoops. I nearly missed my homework assignment from today. I thought that the assignment that was due today was due tomorrow. Fortunately, I turned it in two minutes before it was due, so there are no issues there. I am happy to say that it looks like I will be getting an “A” for this block of classes again, so I will likely be retaining my 4. ( Read more... )

Why would I be hooked on WoW? I can’t afford it. :-P Anything that has a monthly fee, I don’t have the ability to play.

Any game that is going to require a constant cash flow to support, though, is something that I would have to think about a great deal. Now, I hear that WoW is just as well supported on GNU/Linux systems as Guild Wars is, which is a point in its favor, but it’s not for me.

Playing Guild Wars is fun because it reminds me of old single-player RPG-type games that I used to play. Combine that with the uniqueness of the way characters are built, the dynamics of the world (which can change a lot over time), and the large number of other players, and it is quite fun. Hours and hours of endless fun. *g*
